The 7×7 Project is an integral part of Healing the Father, where we seek to identify men with abortion experience who have reached peace with their abortion and wish to help guide and shepherd other men to their peace.
The reality of helping the abortion-wounded is, for now, a one-on-one process. I, for example, am just one guy who has reached peace with my own abortion experience through forgiveness offered by our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Through the 7×7 Project, I mentor other men who have been affected by abortion, guiding them toward lasting peace. The project aims to expand its reach by equipping 7 men to be mentors, each of whom will then train 7 more mentors, and so on.
The number 7 is used as, according to Christianity.com, “Seven often symbolizes completion or perfection”.
Mentorship Model
At the heart of the 7×7 Project is its mentorship model, which pairs vetted and experienced mentors with men seeking healing. Each mentor, having achieved peace in their journey, provides empathetic guidance and support tailored to the mentee’s unique needs. This one-on-one mentorship fosters profound personal growth and recovery by offering a safe space for participants to explore their feelings and challenges.
Training and Resources
Mentors in the 7×7 Project undergo comprehensive vetting to ensure they are equipped to provide effective and empathetic support. These men are effective communicators and understand and have empathy for the trauma their mentees come to them with. They can impart to their mentees the peace they have attained in hopes these men will be willing to embrace their own path to healing.
Program Expansion
The 7×7 Project is committed to expanding its reach to support more men in need
who wil, in turn, support other men.
